We recommend that you don’t limit your visit to Scottsdale when there are so many wonderful areas just a very short car ride away. The desert has a certain charm and beauty and in this area of Phoenix you are close to the foothills of the White Mountains so there are gently Rolling Hills with beautiful desert Landscapes to enjoy. It’s worth taking the time to use a car service so that you can enjoy the view and leave the driving to somebody else. Some of the closest cities to Scottsdale include Fountain Hills, Carefree and Cave Creek. These are some luxurious cities and they host a number of fine restaurants and art galleries. So if you want to wet your whistle in a fine establishment while enjoying some super local cuisine then these are some places to focus on.
As was mentioned earlier, there are world-renowned golf courses so make sure to visit some of them if you are an avid golfer. Don’t miss playing a round at TPC Scottsdale because you’ll regret it if you do. Also available to you is Troon North and We-Ko-Pa. You won’t regret spending the dimes to play on these courses they are spectacular. And don’t forget to check out Greyhawk also. These are some world-class courses but you also have access to more traditional courses some of which are adjacent to local high-end casinos such as the Talking Stick. No doubt you will have no problems finding a course that suits your needs. After your exquisite round of golf in and around Scottsdale make sure to visit downtown Scottsdale and enjoy some fine dining and wet your whistle at one of the many wonderful drinking establishments.
